Job Title: Azure Solution Architect
Experience: 8+ years
Location: Greater Noida
Coforge is hiring a hands-on Azure Solution Architect with strong presales orientation to drive cloud transformation engagements for global enterprise clients across the UK, US, and EU regions. The role spans solution design, RFP/RFI response leadership, customer-facing architecture discussions, and oversight of large-scale Azure migration and modernization programs.
Objectives:
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Azure cloud architectures (HLD/LLD, landing zones, reference architectures) for enterprise clients.
- Lead presales pursuits end-to-end — RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, solution defense, proposal creation, effort estimation, and CXO-level customer presentations.
- Drive cloud migration and modernization programs (Lift & Shift, re-platforming, microservices decomposition, containerization).
- Architect Azure Landing Zones (Cloud Adoption Framework, Enterprise-Scale); define governance, FinOps, and cost-optimization frameworks via Azure Cost Management and Azure Policy.
- Build and review CI/CD and IaC pipelines using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
- Engage with CXOs and enterprise stakeholders for requirement gathering, architectural discussions, and advisory workshops.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to execution; provide solution oversight during delivery.
- Support multi-cloud conversations (Azure primary; Azure + AWS / GCP exposure preferred).
- Contribute to capability building — reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and internal Azure competency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Azure Core Services: Azure VMs, Azure Storage (Blob/Files/Disks), Azure SQL / Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, AKS, VNet, Entra ID (Azure AD), ARM/Bicep, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes / AKS.
- DevOps & IaC: Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards), GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Migration Strategies: 6 R's, Azure Migrate assessments, application portfolio assessment, dependency mapping
- Presales: Demonstrable experience leading RFP/RFI responses and customer-facing solution defense (5+ years).
- Architecture Documentation: HLD / LLD, solution blueprints, BoM/BoQ, effort sizing.
- Security & Governance: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy, Key Vault, Privileged Identity Management
Certifications Required:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) — mandatory or in-progress
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)
