About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Solutions Architect with 12+ years of overall experience and strong expertise in designing, implementing, and automating enterprise-scale Azure environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure architecture, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, security, networking, and high availability. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and secure Azure solutions while driving automation and standardization across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and establish best practices for infrastructure provisioning.
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Design and manage Azure Landing Zones, subscriptions, management groups, VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, and connectivity.
• Work with Azure services including Virtual Machines, Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, Key Vault, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and related services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments using tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Design solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, scalability, and business continuity.
• Implement Azure security and governance using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, and other security controls.
• Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or similar scripting technologies.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Network, and Infrastructure teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, identify technical risks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Drive cost optimization, performance improvement, standardization, and cloud governance across Azure environments.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, deployment standards, and operational procedures.

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in Azure architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Terraform / Terraform Enterprise or similar IaC tools.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation.
• Experience designing Azure Landing Zones and enterprise cloud architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, governance, and compute services.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell / Azure CLI / Python or similar automation tools.
• Strong understanding of HA/DR, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Experience with Azure security and governance frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, architecture, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Certification – Mandatory

Candidate must hold a valid Microsoft Azure certification, preferably:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• AZ-104 / Azure Administrator Associate is an added advantage.
• Other relevant Microsoft Azure certifications will be considered.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with Terraform Cloud / Terraform Enterprise.
• Experience with GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of FinOps and Azure cost optimization.
• Experience with enterprise migration and modernization projects.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise customers.
