Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture of enterprise-grade applications on Azure, including design, development, deployment, and governance.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design end-to-end data and AI solutions, and create architectural diagrams and documentation.
- Architect and design cloud-native applications using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.
- Define and implement application architecture patterns including microservices, event-driven, and serverless models.
- Lead application modernization initiatives, including re-platforming and re-architecting legacy systems for Azure.
- Guide the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to development teams.
- Scalability and Performance: Architect solutions that are scalable, high-performing, and cost-efficient, considering factors like data volume, query complexity, and user concurrency.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Solution Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data quality issues, and other challenges that may arise during implementation and operation.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance our data and AI capabilities.
- Demonstrable experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on data analytics and Azure cloud technologies.
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate is required.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in software development and architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application design.
- Expertise in .NET Core, C#, or Java, with experience in building APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS services, serverless computing, and container orchestration (AKS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Deep understanding of application security, identity management (Azure AD, OAuth2, OpenID Connect), and monitoring (App Insights, Log Analytics).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
