L2 Responsibilities :-

Infrastructure Support

• Manage Azure resources:
• Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux)
• Storage Accounts (Blob, Disk, File)
• App Services
• Perform provisioning and deprovisioning

Incident & Service Request Handling

• Monitor alerts via Azure Monitor / ITSM tools
• Handle:
• L2 incidents (VM down, connectivity issues, performance alerts)
• Escalate complex issues to L3

Identity & Access

• Manage Azure AD / Entra ID
• Handle:
• User access
• RBAC role assignments
• MFA issues

Networking

• Support:
• VNet, Subnets
• NSG rules
• Basic VPN troubleshooting

Monitoring & Logs

• Check logs in Log Analytics
• Respond to alerts and threshold breaches

Backup Operations

• Monitor Azure Backup jobs
• Perform basic restore operations

Change Management

• Execute standard changes as per SOP
• Follow CAB guidelines
