JOB LOCATION: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and manage infrastructure in Azure using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot Azure-related issues across multiple environments.
• Configure and maintain private networking, including NSGs and firewall rules.
• Ensure compliance with Azure policies and security standards.
• Support release processes using Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and release teams for smooth deployments.
• Assist with infrastructure-side database management (SQL and Mongo DB).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, VMs, Networking).
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with private networking and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with Azure policy compliance and governance.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and release management.
• Understanding of infrastructure aspects of SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Detailed Skill Matrix:

1)DevOps Skills

• Experience with DevOps tooling to manage lifecycle of Azure resources.
• Ability to create and modify Terraform code for Azure resources.
• Comfortable consuming modules from internal repositories and managing state files.
• Understanding Git, branching, and pull requests for approvals.
• Ability to configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines with stage gate approvals.

2) Landing Zone Management

• Understanding of vNet/subnet configuration in Azure.
• Ability to configure NSGs and firewall rules.
• Troubleshooting connectivity using KQL queries against Log Analytics.
• Knowledge of Azure Policy for security and compliance; ability to remediate non-compliance.

3) SQL Skills:

• SQL administration and troubleshooting end-to-end.
• Understanding DevOps/IaC tooling for SQL lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Azure private networking for SQL connectivity.
• Experience with Azure SQL backup/restore and performance tuning.
• Understanding Azure Policy and Defender for SQL security compliance.

4) Windows Server Admin

• Experience with Windows Server administration for resilience and performance.
• Understanding DevOps/IaC tooling for VM lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Azure private networking for VM connectivity.
• Ability to manage Azure-specific server tasks (safe mode, event logging).
• Understanding Azure Policy and Defender for Server operational compliance.

5) MongoDB / NoSQL

• Understanding of Azure CosmosDB/MongoDB similar to SQL requirements.

6) Azure App Services

• Ability to troubleshoot networking and performance issues for App Services.
• Understanding of SKUs, scaling, and right-sizing for App Services.

7) Azure API Management (APIM)

• Manage API proxy definitions for App Services on shared APIM platform.

8) Azure Shared Services (AppGateway CSS)

• Manage routing, certificates, and health checks on shared Azure App Gateway.

9) Cloud Controls

• Understanding of RL change management, release management, and incident management processes.
