Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure components including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Identity services.
- Support implementation projects, including environment setup, workload migration, and post-deployment stabilization.
- Manage ongoing operations and monitoring of Azure environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent, repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Azure networking components such as VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute.
- Apply best practices for security, governance, and compliance in Azure.
- Collaborate with service management teams to resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and deliver continuous improvement.
- Document infrastructure setups, configurations, and operational runbooks.
- Stay current with Azure platform enhancements and recommend improvements where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services (IaaS, Networking, Security, Storage, Compute).
- Strong experience in Azure Networking including hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute), load balancing, routing, and security configurations.
- Working knowledge of Terraform for Azure infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Azure management tools.
- Experience in managing identity and access through Azure Active Directory and RBAC.
- Experience in supporting incident and change management within a managed services model.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills across infrastructure and networking layers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Exposure to hybrid environments integrating on-premises and Azure workloads.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or Azure CLI for scripting and automation.
