Job Description

  • Azure Services Knowledge: Deep understanding of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, and others.
  • Networking: Knowledge of Azure networking services like Azure Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, and an understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, VPNs, etc.).
  • Security and Compliance: Familiarity with Azure security tools such as Azure Security Center, Azure Firewall, and knowledge of compliance standards relevant to cloud services (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Cloud Architecture Design: Ability to design scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure.
  • Best Practices: Knowledge of best practices for cloud architecture, leveraging Microsofts Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Monitoring and Management: Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics, and management tools like Azure Automation and Azure Cost Management.
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup for implementing disaster recovery strategies and ensuring data durability.
