Job Description

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experiencedAzure Infrastructure Consultantwith strong expertise inVM Migration and Lift & Shift strategiesto support the migration of on-premises workloads toMicrosoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing large-scale infrastructure migrations with minimal downtime, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and executeend-to-end migration of on-premises virtual machines to Azure

• PerformLift & Shift (Rehost) migrationsusingAzure Migrate

• Assess current infrastructure and provide migration strategies and recommendations

• Configure and manageAzure Virtual Machines, storage, and networking components

• Implement replication and disaster recovery usingAzure Site Recovery (ASR)

• Design and configure networking components such as: Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG) and Load Balancers

• Establish secure connectivity between on-premises and Azure via: Site-to-Site VPN and Azure ExpressRoute

• Perform migration validation, testing, and performance tuning post-migration

• Monitor workloads using Azure monitoring tools and optimize resource utilization

• Implement backup and recovery solutions for migrated workloads

• Troubleshoot migration-related issues and provide timely resolution

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth transition

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure VM provisioning and management and Migration tools and methodologies

• Proven expertise in VM migration / Lift & Shift projects

• Deep understanding of Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer) and Storage accounts and disk type

• Experience in migrating Windows and Linux servers

• Good understanding of Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics), Backup solutions, Disaster recovery strategies

• Hands-on experience with ..PowerShell and/orAzure CLI

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate- AZ-104

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert - AZ-305

• Relevant professional certifications strongly preferred

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

Experience :

• 6 - 8 Years of experience
