Role Overview:
We are looking for a DevOps Tech Lead with strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure, cloud security, and automation. The role involves owning cloud infrastructure, guiding the DevOps team, and working closely with architects, developers, and security teams to build secure, scalable, and reliable platforms, including AI‑enabled solutions. Candidates with explicit knowledge of Microsoft Azure are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage Azure cloud infrastructure under architect guidance.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage Linux-based VMs and MS SQL Server (IaaS / PaaS).
- Ensure security posture using Microsoft Sentinel and Defender for Cloud.
- Implement and manage Azure IAM (Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, PIM).
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
- Own alerts, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
- Work with Azure AI services and Azure OpenAI; support AI/agentic tool integration.
- Act as a technical lead, mentoring team members and driving best practices.
- Work in Agile environments and track delivery using Jira.
Requirements (Must‑Have):
- 5–6 years of hands‑on experience on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with Terraform (IaC).
- Solid background in Azure security, networking, and IAM.
- Hands‑on experience managing Linux VMs and MS SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and production support.
- Strong ownership mindset, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- B.Tech / B.E / MCA or equivalent qualification.
Preferences (Good to Have):
- Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect / Security / DevOps).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Experience with AKS / Kubernetes, Docker.
- Exposure to SRE practices, FinOps, or large enterprise environments.
- Experience building highly available and secure cloud platforms.
