Azure DevOps Platform Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on Azure
• Support multiple application environments (dev, test, UAT, pre‑prod)
• Support application deployments and release activities
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery pipelines
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and standardization
• Implement platform security controls and compliance measures
• Embed security best practices into CI/CD and infrastructure automation
• Contribute to secure-by-design cloud architecture
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, and usage trends (excluding RUN)
• Proactively identify platform risks and improvement opportunities
• Support development teams during delivery activities
• Work closely with backend, DevOps, and technical leadership teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of platform processes and tooling

PROFILE

• Minimum 6- 12 years experience as DevOps
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as:

o Terraform

o Ansible

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar)
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas is a strong plus
• Exposure to cloud networking, security, and identity concepts
• Strong automation and security mindset
• Experience working in offshore delivery models
• Proactive problem‑solver with good collaboration skills
• Comfortable supporting development teams in fast‑paced delivery environments
