Azure DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Data Warehouse

Job Overview

OnPoint Insights is looking for an experienced Azure DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, DataOps, and cloud data warehouse platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, AKS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Storage.

The role involves designing, automating, and supporting scalable Azure environments, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise data platforms.

Working Hours: US Eastern Time Zone (9 AM – 5 PM EST)

Key Responsibilities

1-Manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and release deployments.

2-Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates.

3-Support Azure services including ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Storage, and AKS.

4-Manage AKS deployments using Argo CD and GitOps.

5-Support DataOps processes for cloud data platforms.

6-Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments.

7-Implement Azure security using IAM, RBAC, encryption, and network security.

8-Automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Shell scripting.

9-Managed Databricks deployments, cluster configurations, secrets, and job scheduling while integrating with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Key Vault &

10-Collaborate with Data Engineering, Application, and Cloud teams.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of Azure cloud experience.
• Strong experience with:
• Azure DevOps
• CI/CD pipelines
• Terraform / ARM templates
• AKS & Kubernetes
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Synapse
• Azure Storage
• Experience with Git and automation workflows.
• Knowledge of Azure security, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PowerShell/Python/Shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Databricks and cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Knowledge of Data Governance and compliance.
• Experience with AWS/GCP is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
