Azure DevOps

Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities: CI/CD & Release Engineering - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation. - Standardize pipeline templates, variables, and approvals to improve reusability and governance across teams. - Troubleshoot pipeline failures, optimize build times, and improve release reliability through continuous enhancements. Container & Platform Enablement - Support deployments to AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), including rollout strategies and environment-specific configurations. - Collaborate with application teams to package and deploy services to Kubernetes with consistent, repeatable processes. Operations, Monitoring & Collaboration - Partner with development and QA teams to integrate automated checks and quality gates into delivery workflows. - Participate in incident triage related to deployments and platform issues, contributing to root-cause analysis and preventive actions. - Maintain clear documentation for pipelines, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

Additional Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent (e.g., BTech/BE/MSc) or Master's degree (e.g., MTech/MCA) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in DevOps/Build & Release/Platform engineering roles. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including repositories, boards (as applicable), and release processes. - Strong working knowledge of Azure Pipelines and CI/CD concepts (branching, approvals, artifacts, environments). - Practical experience supporting deployments to AKS/Kubernetes environments. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience implementing deployment strategies for Kubernetes workloads (e.g., rolling updates, blue/green, canary). - Ability to improve delivery maturity through pipeline standardization, automation, and measurable reliability improvements. - Experience collaborating across multiple teams to define release workflows, environment promotion, and governance practices. - Strong troubleshooting skills across build, release, and cluster deployment issues with a focus on prevention and continuous improvement. - Exposure to security and compliance practices in CI/CD (e.g., approvals, controlled releases, audit-friendly processes). Good to have skills: Terraform, Helm, Docker, Git, Azure Monitor
