Azure Devops Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for creating and maintaining delivery pipelines for cloud-based projects in both Staging and Production environments. You will ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient while driving the adoption of best practices for DevOps.

You will also be responsible for automating infrastructure on Azure Cloud, implementing containerization technologies, and utilizing Azure DevOps (VSTS) to streamline our deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze project requirements to define feasible DevOps solutions.
• Suggest solutions and recommend tools and techniques that enhance the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain delivery pipelines for cloud-based projects, ensuring that they are efficient and reliable in both Staging and Production environments.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Azure Cloud and related services.
• Automate deployment workflows to improve the speed and efficiency of releases.
• Leverage Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to manage containers and deploy scalable applications.
• Monitor the health and performance of deployments and services across environments, ensuring stability and scalability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, making sure the pipelines are optimized for speed and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA/ME/M.Tech with relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps practices, including creating and maintaining delivery pipelines for cloud-based projects.
• Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud (IaaS), and automation of infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code).
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong scripting experience with Shell, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of Azure DevOps (VSTS) and its lifecycle, including Build → Package → Deploy → Monitoring.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and automated deployment practices.
