Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Infrastructure

Location: India – Coimbatore / Hyderabad / Chennai / Bengaluru

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

• Manage source code workflows using Git and Bitbucket, including branching, merging, and release management.

• Deploy resources across multiple environments with proper configuration management.

• Support and coordinate release activities across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

• Monitor deployments and troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, infrastructure, and application issues.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for repeatable and controlled cloud deployments.

• Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Apply security and access control configurations, including Managed Identities and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

• Integrate code quality and security scanning practices using SonarQube and appropriate secret-management approaches.

• Use Linux, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, and Groovy to automate deployment and operational activities.

• Work with Databricks and related Azure services as required for deployment and environment management.

• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure reliable and timely releases.

• Track deployment and release activities using Jira and maintain appropriate operational documentation.

Required Skills:

• Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Jira, Linux and Azure CLI, Databricks.

• Skills: CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code, Git workflows, cloud deployments, containerization, release automation, troubleshooting, security scanning, and secrets management.

• Programming Languages / Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash, YAML, Groovy, and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with deployment monitoring and release coordination across multiple environments.

• Experience deploying resources across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production with appropriate configuration management.

• Understanding of cloud security and access control concepts, including Managed Identities and RBAC.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across CI/CD pipelines, deployments, containers, and cloud environments.

Good to have:

• Tools: Helm, Argo CD, Ansible, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, Prometheus, and

Grafana.

• Skills: GitOps, monitoring and observability, cost optimization, disaster recovery,

and policy as code.

• Programming Languages: Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HCL, and SQL.
