Job Description

This requirement is for DevOps Engineer in Gurugram for Data Analytics Project.
Leading and managing the L2 Support Team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Overseeing the handling of escalated tickets and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Monitoring the production environment and data consistency according to defined procedures.
Troubleshooting ETL jobs after errors to ensure timely data availability.
Reacting to automated alerts raised by production system monitoring tools.
Collaborating with the DevOps team to stay updated on the current roadmap of changes.
Scheduling production deployments in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and the DevOps team.
Maintaining effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Participating in recurring and ad-hoc meetings as required.
Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
Experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on data analytics and DevOps.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and PowerShell.
Familiarity with DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code), and automation of tasks.
Experience with Azure services in the DevOps area.
Good knowledge of CI/CD and IaC building and development pipelines.
Ability to use tools such as Git, Jira, and ServiceNow.
Practical experience in infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with Azure clouds Ability to define and optimize code and data quality assurance processes, as well as implement best practices in this area.
Familiarity with Data Warehouse / Data Lakes concepts, ETL/ELT processes, data quality verification techniques. Experience with automated testing and code quality tools.
Understanding of ITIL framework and service management principles.
Experience with ServiceNow.
