About The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Azure DevOps Architect with deep expertise in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation to architect, optimize, and manage cloud infrastructure supporting complex, large-scale systems. You will play a strategic role in ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, provision, and manage Azure resources Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub, and related services.
- Oversee and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Administer Azure API Management, including provisioning, performance optimization, and API security configurations.
- Manage Apache Airflow (or equivalent orchestration tools): DAG creation, scheduling, and workflow troubleshooting.
- Administer middleware and web application environments (e.g., TIBCO) ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and maintenance using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with middleware, application, and data engineering teams to streamline CI/CD processes and ensure smooth data pipeline operations.
- Monitor and maintain observability systems, define alerts, and create dashboards/reports for infrastructure and application health.
- Maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and configuration guides to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills
- Azure Cloud (VMs, Storage, AKS, API Management, Service Bus, Event Hub).
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Azure API Management Performance optimization, configuration, and security.
- Apache Airflow (or similar orchestration platforms).
- CI/CD Automation and strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Pulumi or ARM Templates.
- Monitoring & Observability Tools Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Middleware & Web Application Administration TIBCO or similar platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Azure.
- Proven experience in Kubernetes (AKS) administration and troubleshooting containerized workloads.
- Experience managing Apache Airflow or similar orchestration platforms, including DAG development and debugging.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran) is a plus.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
- Practical understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with a proactive ownership mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a polyglot technology environment.
