Azure Database Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Design and Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes. Create logical and physical data models.
• T-SQL Development and Optimization:
• Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures for high-volume data environments.
• Performance Tuning:
• Improve database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and configuration enhancements. Monitor resource utilization and resolve bottlenecks.
• Database Administration:
• Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery, index maintenance, and scheduled SQL jobs. Monitor health and security of SQL environments.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed for secure, efficient database operations.
• Cloud Platform Expertise (Azure):
• Utilize Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure data services. Apply best practices in deployment, networking, and security.
