Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on Azure. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines on Azure
Architect and implement data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage
Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics
Design and implement data governance and security policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design data solutions
Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data solutions
Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage
Experience with ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics
Strong understanding of data governance and security policies
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to Have:

Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines
Experience with data science and machine learning using Azure services
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
Certification in Azure Data Engineering or related field
