We are hiring an experienced Azure Data Engineer to own end-to-end data pipelines, optimize performance, and deliver production-grade data solutions. This role is based in India and is fully on-site.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks to ingest, transform, and curate data at scale.
- Implement data storage and processing solutions on Azure Data Lake Storage and Synapse Analytics, ensuring data quality, partitioning, and cost efficiency.
- Build PySpark jobs and Python services for batch and streaming use-cases; optimize Spark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with data consumers and architects to define data models, schemas, and ingestion contracts; enforce data governance and lineage practices.
- Automate CI/CD for data platform components using Azure DevOps and infrastructure-as-code patterns; manage deployments and rollbacks.
- Monitor platform health, implement observability (metrics, logging, alerts), and troubleshoot production incidents to meet SLAs.
