Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for an Azure Data Engineer Lead. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions on the Azure platform. The primary responsibilities include data modeling, implementing end-to-end data pipelines using Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, optimizing data warehousing solutions, and leveraging data analytics to support business decisions. The Azure Data Engineer Lead will also guide a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Profile Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Data Engineering and Data Modeling
- Experience with design and implementation of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes
- In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret data using Data Analytics techniques
- Hands-on experience with the Azure Data Platform, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related services
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring engineering teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Azure certifications and prior experience in a lead or senior data engineering role is a plus
