Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Data Engineer, working on creating a suite of data-driven products across our industry verticals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in design, build and launch of improved data models and pipelines.

Adopt and promote the technical and engineering approaches for various initiatives around the platform demonstrating strong knowledge of modern data architecture.

Manage, prioritize, and execute request backlog in timely fashion.

Collaborate effectively with Dev, Implementation and other product teams.

Key Skills

Advanced level MS-SQL

Intermediate level Python

Deep understanding of healthcare data

Experience with Data Built Tool (DBT) is beneficial

Advanced design and implementation level experience, including implementing data models (logical and physical), data warehouse design and data engineering best practices

Ability to learn new technologies and evaluate multiple technologies to solve a problem

Strong relationship/team building, written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions; tolerance in dealing with bad quality data

Knowledge of developing and maintaining formal documentation that describes data and data structures including data architecture, data infrastructure and data models

Team-oriented, goal-oriented and flexible with proven track record in collaborating with multiple stakeholders

Education & Relevant Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering or related field - in combination with experience, is required in order to understand relevant technology.

Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering or related field is preferred.
