Primary Title: Senior Azure Data Engineer
A fast-growing player in Cloud and Enterprise Data Engineering, focused on delivering scalable analytics, data platforms, and real-time insights on Microsoft Azure for global customers. We build secure, production-grade data pipelines and data products that power BI, ML, and operational reporting.
Location: India (REMOTE) — Full remote work with periodic cross-team syncs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate end-to-end Azure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks for batch and near-real-time ingestion.
- Develop PySpark ETL jobs and implement data transformation, cleansing, partitioning, and optimization for large datasets.
- Model and implement analytical workloads in Azure Synapse Analytics and manage data storage on ADLS Gen2 with Delta Lake patterns.
- Implement CI/CD and infrastructure as code for data workloads using Azure DevOps, Git, and ARM/Terraform pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune performance across Spark jobs, SQL queries, and pipeline throughput; enforce data quality and lineage controls.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI teams, and product stakeholders to operationalize models and deliver reliable data products on schedule.
