We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to create scalable, high-performance data architectures that ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Architecture & Development
- Design, architect, and develop data solutions on the Azure Stack.
- Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
Data Management & Optimization
- Perform advanced data modeling, profiling, and quality assessments to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Governance, Security & Compliance
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices in line with industry regulations.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve data availability and reliability issues.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Work with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database).
- Proficiency in ETL, data modeling, and pipeline development.
- Experience in data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a performance-driven mindset.
