Azure data engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure data services and a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions using Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-16 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services and tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
• Experience with data modeling and data architecture best practices.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
