Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer & Architect to lead the design, development, automation, and operation of enterprise Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes administration, DevOps, and cloud automation. This role requires strong technical leadership to define platform strategy, manage cloud infrastructure, and enable development teams through secure, scalable, and standardized cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Azure cloud platforms and infrastructure.
- Define the platform vision, roadmap, and architecture aligned with business and digital product strategies.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and advanced PowerShell scripting.
- Manage Azure networking components including Virtual WAN, Hub & Spoke architecture, Virtual Networks, Application Gateway, WAF, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes environments, ensuring platform stability, security, and performance.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement cloud security best practices, identity management, and governance using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, Managed Identities, Service Principals, and Enterprise Applications.
- Manage platform releases, deployments, backlog, prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and deployment-related issues.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and product teams to deliver reliable cloud services.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and cloud governance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvements through automation, monitoring, and platform optimization.
