Role Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to help secure, automate, and support multi-cloud environments with an emphasis on Azure. This role combines Cloud Security, DevOps, Customer Success, and Product Collaboration in a fast-paced startup environment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and secure cloud infrastructure across clouds with an emphasis on Azure.
- Serve as a cloud security subject matter expert for customers and internal teams.
- Implement and automate security controls, monitoring, and compliance processes.
- Support customer onboarding, technical demonstrations, and solution adoption.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance security capabilities.
- Identify, investigate, and remediate security vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Develop security standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
- Research emerging cloud and security technologies.
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and process optimization.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Very strong communication skills
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS and GCP; multi-cloud experience preferred with emphasis on Azure.
- Strong understanding of:
Cloud Security Architecture
Networking and Security Fundamentals
Kubernetes, Docker, and Container Security
IAM, SSO, and RBAC
- Proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting for automation.
- Experience with cloud consoles, CLI tools, APIs, and infrastructure automation.
- Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Ability to work directly with customers and drive successful outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a startup or fast paced environment.
Required Certification (Any One)
- AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
