Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable and secure applications using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-native application development, Azure services, and DevOps practices, along with a strong foundation in software engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-native applications using Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Storage
- Build and maintain APIs, microservices, and serverless components
- Integrate with other Azure services like Azure Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Azure Event Grid
- Collaborate with software architects, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver complete solutions
- Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and errors
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Ensure cloud solutions follow best practices for security, scalability, and compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years working with Azure
- Proficient in programming languages such as C Sharp, .NET Core, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js)
- Experience with Azure services like App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB
- Familiarity with Azure API Management and Azure Key Vault
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Knowledge of source control and CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Understanding of cloud security, Azure Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Azure certification (such as AZ-204 or AZ-305)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus
