About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-grade cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
This role will lead cloud modernization efforts, define architecture standards, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end Azure Cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.
- Develop Azure landing zones, governance frameworks, and cloud operating models.
- Lead large-scale cloud migrations, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives.
- Design scalable and secure architectures using Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, VNets, App Services, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor, Defender, etc.
- Define and implement IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions for cloud deployments.
- Ensure compliance, security hardening, identity management, and policy enforcement (Azure AD, RBAC, NSGs, Policies).
- Optimize cost, performance, and cloud resource utilization.
- Work closely with engineering, DevOps, security, and networking teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentoring to teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1015 years in cloud, infrastructure, or architecture roles.
- 5+ years designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, governance, monitoring, and security.
- Deep understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS services and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Azure DevOps, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker).
- Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable architectural designs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (highly preferred).
- Experience with hybrid cloud setups and connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN).
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, security frameworks, and cloud compliance.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
