Azure Cloud Architect - Kubernetes

As an Azure Cloud architect, you will be joining a team responsible for building and maintaining an innovative mobile application in a cloud environment on Azure.

Your role will be crucial in designing the development on the cloud platform within the Group.

Your decisions will provide the framework for your fellow analysts and developers to work with.

Responsibilities :

• Design solutions within Azure and Kubernetes (AKS), in line with functional and non-functional requirements, as part of a scrum team.
• Ensure that the designs align with the Enterprise IT and reference architecture.
• Expand the reference architecture based on evolving needs and industry trends.
• Oversee the implementation of the solutions you have designed.
• Document architecture decisions for future reference.
• Contribute to architecture governance board.
• Experience and Knowledge :
• Minimum of 15 years of IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Native Architectures and Cloud Design Patterns.
• Experience in application architecture based on Azure PaaS services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in working with container-based solutions, and in particular with AKS
• Proficiency in Azure PaaS services such as Azure Functions, API Management, Azure Cache for Redis
• Ability to anticipate Azure costs.
• Familiarity with different data stores (SQL DB, NoSQL(Cosmos DB, Redis), etc.) and their advantages and disadvantages.
• Understanding of messaging services like Event Hubs, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
• Familiarity with the Hub & Spoke topology and the most recurrent network building blocks.
• Experience with automation and CICD pipelines, in both DevOps and GitOps organizations.
• Experience in architecting secured solutions, IAM integration with Azure AD using OpenID Connect, SCIM and OAuth protocols.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in a Safe working environment is a plus.
