Azure Cloud Architect

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, modernization, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and strategy—someone who can translate business needs into secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud platforms.  

Key Responsibilities 

Architect end-to-end Azure cloud solutions across compute, storage, networking, security, and data services  

Lead cloud modernization initiatives including migration, re-platforming, and cloud-native redesign  

Define Azure landing zones, governance models, identity architecture, and security baselines  

Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, data, and application teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions  

Develop reference architectures, best practices, and reusable frameworks  Conduct cloud assessments, cost optimization reviews, and performance tuning  

Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements  

Guide customers and internal teams on Azure capabilities, roadmap, and architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Experience 

8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure

Strong knowledge of Azure services: App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, VNETs, API Management, Key Vault, Monitor, Defender, etc.  

Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones, governance, RBAC, and identity (AAD/Entra)  

Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates  Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)  Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management  

Ability to lead architecture discussions with both technical and business stakeholders  

Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-400, or equivalent) preferred 

Nice to Have 

Experience with hybrid cloud (Azure Arc, on-prem integration)  Knowledge of data platforms (Azure SQL, Synapse, Databricks)  Background in application modernization or microservices architecture  Experience in regulated industries (Energy, Finance, Healthcare)
