Azure APIM Lead

Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure APIM Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API Management, specifically with Azure APIM, and will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of our API solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Azure API Management solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and specifications.
• Develop and maintain API documentation and support integration efforts.
• Monitor and optimize API performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API management and access.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on Azure APIM best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience in API Management, specifically with Azure API Management services.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP services.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
• Experience with API gateways, security protocols, and authentication mechanisms.
• Knowledge of JSON, XML, and related data formats.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools for API deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
