Job Description
Azure Cloud PaaS Administrator
- As a Azure Cloud PaaS Administrator, you will collaborate with application and engineering teams to troubleshoot cloud resource issues, improve solutions, and ensure compliance with security policies. Youll manage cloud environments, automate infrastructure tasks, handle disaster recovery, and oversee AKS clusters while documenting key IT processes and performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Work with Application teams to troubleshoot cloud resources issues.
- Work with the Engineering Team to develop better solutions for the customer.
- Evaluate existing infra Identify gaps functionally, technically, highlight them and have it addressed.
- Manage cloud environments in compliance with the organizations security policies.
- Explore automation possibilities in the infra and have it implemented.
- Perform Disaster recovery and configuration management tasks.
- Should be able to manage AKS clusters.
- Knowledge and experience in Cloud infrastructure/services and delivery models, storage concepts, networking basics, etc.
- Knowledge of IT service management and corresponding ITSM procedures and policies
- Documented understanding of ITIL processes, SOW's, Affidavits, Agreements, SLA's and KPI's, cost of service, and Risk and security.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Cloud engineering role handling PaaS infrastructure
- Strong experience in troubleshooting cloud resources and resolving issues in collaboration with application teams.
- Proven ability to explore and implement automation possibilities to optimize infrastructure management.
- Solid experience in performing disaster recovery and configuration management tasks.
- Hands-on experience with managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with global teams.
- Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions.
