Job Summary:
The Azure Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure environments. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure services, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the availability and performance of cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networks, and other cloud resources.
Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring optimal operation and reliability.
Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, roles, and permissions.
Perform regular updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure the integrity and security of cloud environments.
Implement and manage backup and recovery processes for Azure resources.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest Azure features, services, and best practices.
Assist in the planning and implementation of cloud migration projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
Familiarity with monitoring and management tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including VPN, VNet, and firewalls.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with compliance and security standards related to cloud environments.
