Job Description
For Locations: Nagpur | Amravati | Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra
Salary: 50k
We are looking for a well-rounded Ayurvedic Practitioner to join our centre and provide patient consultations, Ayurvedic assessments, treatment guidance, and ongoing monitoring.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and treatments, good clinical judgment, and the ability to communicate health-related information with empathy and clarity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient consultations and understand their health concerns and requirements.
- Perform Nadi Pariksha and other appropriate Ayurvedic assessments to understand patients health conditions.
- Recommend or administer appropriate Ayurvedic treatments under established clinical protocols.
- Explain the purpose and process of recommended treatments to patients in a simple and reassuring manner.
- Calm and support anxious or distressed patients during consultations.
- Monitor patients progress and evaluate the effectiveness and implications of treatments.
- Modify the treatment approach when required based on patient response and assessment.
- Maintain accurate consultation notes and patient records after every consultation.
- Refer patients to the Chief Medical Expert whenever required.
- Coordinate with support staff to ensure smooth scheduling of patient consultations and appointment reminders.
- Ensure the consultation area is adequately stocked with fresh and well-maintained supplies.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic, and patient-focused approach at all times.
- Valid license/registration to practice Ayurveda.
- 1–3 years of experience as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, preferably in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of Ayurvedic principles, therapies, and treatment approaches.
- Knowledge of Nadi Pariksha and basic Ayurvedic diagnostic practices.
- Good clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
- Ability to explain complex health-related information in a simple and understandable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, kindness, patience, and confidence when dealing with patients.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the medical team.
Someone who can combine traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with a patient-first approach a practitioner who listens carefully, assesses thoughtfully, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of patient care.
