Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Ayurvedic Doctor role based in Moti Nagar, Delhi. The Ayurvedic Doctor will provide clinical consultations, perform detailed assessments of patients health conditions, and develop individualized Ayurvedic treatment plans, including medicine prescriptions, lifestyle modifications, and panchkarma therapy recommendations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating with other wellness practitioners to deliver integrated care. The role also involves educating patients on preventive health, participating in community wellness initiatives, and contributing to the refinement of HuHaHo's holistic care protocols. The Ayurvedic Doctor is expected to uphold ethical clinical standards and represent the organization's values of health, happiness, and hope in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in Ayurveda (e.g., BAMS or equivalent) from a recognized institution and valid registration/license to practice, as applicable.
  • Strong clinical skills in Ayurvedic diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha, Prakriti assessment, Dosha imbalance evaluation) and treatment planning.
  • Knowledge of Ayurvedic pharmacology, safe use of herbal medicines, Panchakarma procedures, and integrative lifestyle counseling.
  • Ability to communicate complex health concepts clearly, with strong patient education, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in holistic or integrative wellness settings, with openness to collaborating with nutrition, yoga, mental health, and other allied professionals.
  • Capability to maintain thorough clinical documentation and use basic digital tools or electronic health record systems where required.
  • Prior experience as an Ayurvedic practitioner in a clinic, hospital, or wellness center is preferred.
