Role Description The AWS Trainer role at Thinkcloudly is a part-time, remote position focused on teaching learners foundational and advanced concepts in Amazon Web Services. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering live online classes, creating and updating training materials, labs, and presentations, and guiding learners through hands-on exercises and projects. The trainer will clarify technical concepts, answer questions, and provide feedback on assignments to support learner progress. Additional tasks may include contributing to course design, recording instructional content, and helping learners prepare for AWS certification exams and job interviews.
Qualifications

• Strong AWS knowledge across core services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda) and cloud architecture best practices.
• Experience designing and delivering technical training or mentoring learners in a virtual environment.
• Clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in accessible language.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, or related IT roles (system administration, networking, or security).
• Familiarity with AWS certification paths; holding one or more AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect) is preferred.
• Comfort with using online collaboration tools, learning management systems, and remote teaching technologies.
• Ability to work independently, manage a part-time teaching schedule, and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
