About the Role
We are looking for an AWS Textract and Document AI Developer to design, build, and support intelligent document extraction and automation solutions using AWS AI services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and measurable AI-powered document processing solutions that automate data extraction, classification, validation, and workflow integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions using Amazon Textract.
- Build automated document extraction pipelines for invoices, forms, contracts, receipts, and enterprise documents.
- Utilize Amazon Comprehend for entity recognition, document classification, sentiment analysis, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Design scalable document storage and processing workflows using Amazon S3.
- Develop serverless automation using AWS Lambda for document processing and business workflows.
- Integrate document AI solutions with enterprise applications through APIs and workflow automation platforms.
- Implement validation, exception handling, and quality assurance processes for extracted document data.
- Optimize document processing pipelines for accuracy, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, AI engineers, and cloud teams to deliver production-ready document automation solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment standards, monitoring, and operational best practices.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Textract
- Experience with Amazon Comprehend
- Strong knowledge of Amazon S3
- Experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience with workflow integration and document automation
- Understanding of OCR, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and NLP concepts
Experience Requirements
- Up to 5 years of overall experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in Amazon Textract, AWS AI services, document automation, or related technologies
