Position Summary
We are seeking a Lead Architect to drive the design, modernization, and implementation of enterprise cloud solutions with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will help shape scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures that support global business applications and technology platforms. You will work across engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to define cloud strategies, guide modernization efforts, and deliver high-quality architecture outcomes. Work you'll do
As a Lead Architect on the Global Deloitte Application Studio team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the design and implementation of Azure-based architecture solutions, including landing zones, reference architectures, and standardized cloud design approaches.
- Defining and executing cloud migration and modernization strategies, including application assessments, architecture planning, and infrastructure migration roadmaps.
- Designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud and cloud-agnostic solutions for enterprise applications and platforms.
- Guiding engineering teams on solution design, automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, and issue resolution across development, test, and production environments.
- Building architecture recommendations that improve performance, resiliency, monitoring, governance, and cost optimization across Azure environments.
The team
Global Deloitte Application Studio (GDAS) is part of the Global CIO organization and supports a portfolio of global business applications and technology infrastructure used across Deloitte member firms. The team focuses on building, modernizing, and supporting technology solutions that enable common business processes at scale across the organization.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 14+ years of experience in information technology, software engineering, cloud engineering, or infrastructure architecture
- 4+ years of experience architecting solutions for Microsoft Azure
- Experience designing and implementing Azure infrastructure-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service solutions
- Experience with Azure services and tools such as Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake
- Experience with automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery tools or scripting technologies such as ARM templates, PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Preferred:
- Experience designing cloud-agnostic architecture solutions
- Experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET , .NET Core, Web API, Angular, SQL, or JSON
- Experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience with Azure networking and recovery services such as virtual networks, user-defined routes, load balancers, traffic management, or site recovery
- Experience with Azure monitoring, logging, security, and governance capabilities
- Experience working in Agile delivery environment
