Role Summary

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled AWS Security Engineer to strengthen and maintain our cloud security posture across AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience securing cloud identities, secrets, encryption, and access controls, with a strong focus on AWS IAM, Secrets Manager, and KMS.

Key Responsibilities:

×       Manage and maintain AWS Secrets Manager, including secret creation, rotation, access policies, and lifecycle management.

×       Design, review, and enforce IAM policies and roles following the principle of least privilege.

×       Manage the AWS KMS key lifecycle, including key creation, rotation, access policies, permissions, and retirement/ decommissioning.

×       Implement and maintain secure controls for cloud identities, credentials, secrets, and encryption keys.

×       Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities in AWS configurations and recommend appropriate remediation.

×       Monitor and investigate security events related to IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and other AWS security services.

Required Skills & Experience:

×       4-8 Yrs of experience in Cloud Security, AWS Security, or Cloud Infrastructure Security.

×       Strong hands-on experience with:

×         AWS IAM – roles, policies, permission boundaries, trust policies, cross-account access.

×         AWS Secrets Manager – secret management, access controls, rotation, and lifecycle.

×         AWS KMS – key policies, grants, rotation, encryption, and key lifecycle management.

×       Strong understanding of AWS security and identity concepts and the principle of least privilege.

×       Experience troubleshooting IAM authorisation and access-related issues.

Qualification

×       Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related Engineering discipline.
