About The Role
The Provisioning Specialist focuses on first-line support for licensing and provisioning of AWS rather than technical troubleshooting.
On a typical day as an Provisioning Specialist, you will:
- Provide first-line support to company end-users with their AWS licenses (e.g. configuration and basic troubleshooting) following our specifications and AWS documentation.
- Pass end-users to AWS and other solution provider support if unable to resolve at first-line.
- Guide customers on calls through the AWS Console and AWS Organizations, and make simple configuration and licensing changes with them.
- Monitor email and internal tools to check that AWS orders have completed, place new orders on behalf of customers, and confirm back to them.
- Keep track of all calls: attendance/no-shows/reschedules, and recording clear notes and next steps.
- Work closely with the Sales team to follow up with customers, answer outstanding questions, and help them correctly apply AWS credits when needed.
- Reassure customers who may be unsure or skeptical, clearly explain how F6S and AWS work together, and pass end-users to AWS or other solution provider support when an issue cannot be resolved at first-line.
- Update and track your KPIs so you'll be able to maintain an accurate history of activity and outcomes for each customer.
Desired profile
- 2+ years of work experience in provisioning at a managed service provider (MSP).
- Experience working in a software reseller or distributor business
- Experience supporting a high volume of clients at first-line support
- Strong experience licensing and provisioning AWS
- Strong experience working in a ticketing system
- Understanding of AWS Organisations
- Experience working in a KPI driven environment
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
