Roles & Responsibilities :
Assess existing on-premises or legacy systems and define appropriate migration strategies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor)
Plan and execute migration of applications, databases, and workloads to AWS
Perform post-migration validation, testing, and performance tuning
Document migration processes, architecture, and configurations
Provision, configure, and manage AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure
Implement monitoring using CloudWatch and other tools
Respond to alerts, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure timely issue resolution
Implement IAM roles, policies, and access controls
Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance with organizational standards
Perform regular patching, vulnerability assessments, and audits
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Automate deployments and operational tasks
Support CI/CD pipelines and release management
Educational qualification::
Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or Information Technology.
Experience :
3 to 5 years of experience AWS EC2 Migration and Maintenance.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM)
Experience in cloud migration projects
Proficiency in Linux system administration
Good understanding of networking (DNS, Load Balancing, VPN)
Experience in scripting (Python, Bash)
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
Preferred Skills :
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps Engineer)
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
Knowledge of security and compliance best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
