L2 Responsibilities :-
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS)
- Provide L2 / L3 support for cloud operations, incidents, and platform services
- Ensure high availability, performance, cost optimization, and security of AWS workloads
- Work in 24x7 support environment with SLA-driven operations
Infrastructure Management
- Manage AWS services:
- EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route53
- Perform:
- Provisioning / de-provisioning of resources
- AMI, snapshots, backup monitoring
Incident & Service Request Handling
- Handle:
- Infra incidents (VM down, performance issues, connectivity issues)
- Monitor alerts via CloudWatch / ITSM tools
- Escalate complex issues to L3
Identity & Access Management
- Manage IAM users, roles, policies, MFA
- Handle access requests and security compliance
Networking Support
- Support:
- VPC, Subnets, NACLs, Security Groups, Load Balancers
- Basic troubleshooting of:
- VPN, routing, DNS
Monitoring & Backup
- Monitor:
- Logs, metrics (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
- Perform:
- Backup validation, restoration checks
- Patch monitoring
Change Management
- Execute changes as per:
- SOP / CAB guidelines
- Perform deployments and configuration updates
