Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AWS MSK production clusters including scaling, monitoring, and security.
- Work on Apache Kafka topics, consumers, producers, Streams, and Connect.
- Design and optimize event streaming architecture.
- Provision infrastructure using Java CDK, including MSK clusters, VPCs, and security groups.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Work with AWS services such as Lambda functions, VPC, CloudWatch, and Security Hub.
- Ensure performance optimization, system reliability, and production readiness.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
- AWS MSK Kafka experience is strictly mandatory
- Profiles with only generic Apache Kafka experience will not be considered
- Candidate must have hands-on developer experience
Preferred Skills:
- 8+ years IT experience as a developer.
- 6+ years of relevant AWS MSK DevOps + Kafka System Developer experience.
- Strong experience with AWS services like Lambda functions, VPC, CloudWatch, and Security Hub.
- AWS MSK production cluster management.
- Apache Kafka core expertise.
- Java CDK for infrastructure provisioning.
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and IaC deployments.
- Event streaming architecture design and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or relevant technical field preferred.
Notice Period:
Immediate to serving notice candidates preferred.
