Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure-Citrix expert to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AWS services and Citrix technologies, with a proven track record of designing and managing robust infrastructure solutions. This role will involve working closely with various teams to ensure the optimal performance, security, and availability of Citrix applications hosted on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure solutions for Citrix environments.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for Citrix applications on AWS.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS resources used by Citrix applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Citrix solutions with existing systems.
- Perform regular security assessments and audits of the AWS infrastructure and Citrix applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix applications hosted on AWS.
- Maintain documentation related to infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in migrating Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop to internal cloud environments, as well as transitioning Citrix to AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms (with a preference for AWS migration).
- Specialized in planning, designing, installing, configuring, and administering various Citrix products, including Xendesktop/XenApp, Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), and NetScalers across multiple versions.
- Proficient in planning, designing, and implementing Citrix Cloud Solutions, including Citrix DaaS.
- Knowledgeable in Azure Cloud, encompassing Azure migration and administration of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components, including Azure compute, storage, networking, security, Azure Active Directory, Azure SQL, and identity and access management. Additionally, experienced in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including setup and provisioning.
- Expertise in proactively troubleshooting and resolving system issues and outages, collaborating seamlessly with other IT teams to ensure system integration and operational efficiency.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving issues related to virtual desktop connectivity, performance, and application functionality after migration. Proficient in analyzing technical requirements, proposing solutions, and architecting specific products or solutions.
- Proficient in driving serviceability design improvements, providing manufacturing support, and leading virtual teams while fostering tight working relationships.
