Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK—ensuring cost-efficiency, high availability, and security compliance.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline) to automate build, test, and deployment workflows across microservices and containerized apps.
- Implement and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices across teams, enabling version-controlled, reproducible, and auditable environments.
- Configure and manage container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Fargate) and serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway) for event-driven and scalable workloads.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS resources using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudTrail—reducing MTTR and improving system reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and SREs to define SLOs, automate alerting, and conduct blameless postmortems for production incidents.
