AWS DevOps - Senior Engineer

Job Description

Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer with strong AWS and automation skills to design, build, and operate scalable cloud platforms. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, working closely with the Project Lead to deliver resilient infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
. Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
. Build and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
. Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
. Support cloud environments used by application and AI/ML teams
. Implement monitoring, logging, security, and operational best practices
. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently
. Participate in on-call or offshore overlap support as required
. Continuously improve reliability, performance, and automation maturity
Required Skills & Experience
. 4-7 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or DevOps roles, with overall 6+ years of experience.
. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and architectures
. Experience with AWS CDK (preferred) or other IaC frameworks
. Solid hands-on skills in Docker and Kubernetes/EKS
. Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions required)
. Understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and operational excellence
. Exposure to AI/ML workloads, model deployments, or MLOps concepts
Nice to Have
. Experience supporting distributed/offshore teams
. Knowledge of cost optimization and environment standardization
. Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
