Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 45 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing AWS-based production systems while ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support for AWS-hosted applications and infrastructure.
- Monitor production systems, analyze incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.
- Ensure system availability, scalability, security, and cost optimization in production environments.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application releases and deployments.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Handle on-call support, scheduled maintenance, and emergency production issues.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 45 years of experience in AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS production environments.
- Proven experience in production support / live application support.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS.
- Working knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Good troubleshooting, incident management, and communication skills.
