Responsibilities :
This role involves a deep understanding of AWS services, migration strategies, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. They act as trusted advisors, helping customers achieve agility, cost optimization, and business value through cloud adoption. Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cloud migration strategies, assess existing environments, and define migration roadmaps.
Design and document scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS architectures, including infrastructure as code using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Performs engineering design evaluations for new environment builds
Architect, implement and improve possible automations for cloud environments
Lead the planning, design, and execution of migration projects, utilizing tools like AWS Migration Hub, Application Migration Service, and Database Migration Service.
Implementation of industry standard security practices during implementation and maintain it throughout the lifecycle.
Advise and engage with the customer executives on their cloud strategy roadmap, improvements, alignment by bringing in industry best practice/trends and work on further improvements with required business case analysis and required presentations.
Creating business cases for transformation and modernization, including analysis of both total cost of ownership and potential cost and revenue impacts of the transformation
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on security, cost optimization, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and partners, to ensure alignment with cloud transformation goals.
Monitor and optimize cloud workloads for performance and cost efficiency, ensuring operational excellence.

Additional Responsibilities:
Experience in regulated environments with a focus on data privacy and compliance.
Knowledge of migration strategy, tools, network requirements, and integration pathways.
Understanding of change management and building new capabilities.
Technical and Professional Requirements:
Deep hands-on experience with various AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and more.
Proven experience in large-scale cloud migrations, including understanding of different migration strategies (e.g., rehost, replatform, refactor).
Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns, such as microservices, serverless, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect †Associate or higher is often required.
