AWS Data Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing data solutions on the AWS platform, ensuring high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines on AWS.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing processes.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data in compliance with regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and EMR.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture best practices.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
