Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines on AWS.
- Architect and implement data lakes and data warehouses using AWS services.
- Lead end-to-end ETL/ELT pipeline development for structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval for performance and cost.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Implement data quality, validation, lineage, and monitoring frameworks.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance using IAM, encryption, and best practices.
- Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and production support.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI teams, and Product teams to enable analytics and ML use cases.
